Building a solid Christian community
The Bryanston Catholic Church is committed to the development of its Christian community in the greater Bryanston area. This is achieved through various faith-based societies and sodalities as well as Christian activities at the Parish.

Church Activities

Baptism
"Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life. It is the Sacrament by which we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the church and made sharers in her mission." - Catholic Catechism 1213.

The above statement underlines for us the extreme importance that the Church attaches to this Sacrament of initiation into the Christian family.

Baptism will be administered once a month on the 3rd Sunday. Preparation will consist of two input sessions (1 hr - 1½ hrs each) over two weeks. Both PARENTS and GODPARENTS (at least one must be a practicing Catholic) must attend the course.

Information forms for Baptism will only be accepted at the end of completed preparation course.

Marriage
Six months notice is required and the pre-marriage course is compulsory in the Diocese for couples wishing to get married. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Funerals / Requiem Masses
Please contact the Parish Office who will be happy to provide any assistance that is required to grieving families.
